Sustainable construction company

Task

Launch start-up Green Future NI Ltd, a design led sustainable construction firm, with headquarters in Armagh & Monaghan Ireland. The company, responsible for creating Northern Ireland's first ever government accredited zero carbon home, the 'Green Future House', a code level 6 sustainable prototype property in Middletown Co. Armagh.

Strategy

  • Debunk common perception of eco-homes as expensive grand designs, far removed from the reality of ordinary people - as this innovative construction company has now proved energy efficient homes can now be achieved at a comfortable price, similar in cost to conventional builds.
  •  Inform key audiences/stakeholders Green Future NI has created a blue print/prototype capable for mass construction of affordable energy-efficient homes.
  • Deliver messaging that energy efficient homes which integrate highest-standard green energy technology can be built at normal social housing budget range.
  • Invite leaders from the analyst community, academia, government, government bodies, industry, potential customers, clients, partners and potential partners to meet with Green Future NI executives, visit its 'Green Future House' to see first-hand how a   code level 6 zero carbon house works.
  • Secure key media references and third party validation.
  • Create conversations and advocate the benefits for a zero carbon social housing pilot site with Irish and Northern Irish Governments and key private and public body stakeholders.
  • Educate key publics on the need for a scale-able low cost zero carbon code 6 private and public housing solution to address major energy crisis & fuel poverty experienced by millions in NI, Ireland & GB.
  • Establish this company as a national award winning responsible organisation, reflecting its achievement, values and ethos.
  • Lobby reintroduction of Stormont's defunct 'Zero Carbon & Low Carbon Homes Scheme' & create discussion and agenda with key decision makers on the future on housing in NI including Stormont's DSD & DFP, NIFHA and CEF, as well as industry market leaders, developers & investors and thought leaders.
  • Organise a number of stakeholder and press events.
  • Maintain and strengthen links with education, academia & research bodies including Ulster University and Invest Northern Ireland.
  • Establish key stakeholders, key messages & social media channels, content strategy and community management.
