The MBAAI, in partnership with NYSE Euronext, have brought together leading figures from Google and Facebook to Northern Ireland for the organisation's first annual Digital DNA summit in September.

Bringing together these digital phenomena, and high-profile local speakers alongside CEO of NYSE Technologies Jon Robson, the summit will explore digital media technology and best practice on how to promote business growth both within and importantly outside Northern Ireland.  Themed 'Connect & Build: Your digital footprint for the future', the all-day conference takes place in Titanic Belfast on Friday September 13.

Belfast based PR firm PR's ME which promotes high-growth startups and SMEs throughout Northern Ireland using traditional and digital PR has been chosen winner by Digital DNA partner NYSE Euronext to receive two tickets to attend summit.  The event will be chaired by Digital NI 2020 Executive Director, Dr Sinclair Stockman and attendees will include, CEOs, CIOs, senior managers involved in strategic business growth and development, investors, entrepreneurs, founders, academics, researchers and technologists.

Kirsty McQuoid, Managing Director of PR's ME, said: "We are absolutely delighted NYSE Technologies has chosen our company as winner of two tickets for this much anticipated all-day conference. As Belfast is now well established as one of the top 10 destination cities for financial service technologies investments in the world, it makes perfect sense that Google and Facebook address our businesses here in Northern Ireland.

"This event is of particular interest to our company as we are in the business of online influence and reputation management and PR 2.0 is where it is at, so we constantly strive to ensure we deliver the best the web has to offer clients in terms of digital PR. The PR industry experiences changes almost on a daily basis as a result of advances in digital technologies and because we promote startups and SMEs, continuing to make use of best-practice digital PR ensures businesses in Northern Ireland regardless of their size can have big pulling power online."

Main speakers for the event are: CEO of NYSE Technologies, Jon Robson; Director of Small Medium Business Sales for Google, Dave Geraghty; Director of Global Sales Services for Facebook, Gail Power; and Head of Engineering in Deloitte Digital UK, Mike Robinson. The event programme will also boast local speakers drawn from the innovation-led enterprise, venture capital, academic and digital media communities. Further additions to the speaker line-up are due to be announced in the coming weeks.

Gareth Quinn, Chair MBA Association of Ireland (Northern Chapter), said: "Google and Facebook are driving digital change in new and established businesses and these technologies hold the potential to help Northern Ireland gain a competitive advantage and open the doors to new markets.

"These platforms are leveraging tremendous opportunities for businesses of all sizes and across all sectors. The insight being offered by our entire speaker panel at Digital DNA will be enormously valuable to firms seeking to foster new growth in these tough times. Attendees will also leave with an understanding of the importance of investing in the younger generation to ensure that Northern Ireland becomes a sustainable world-class digital hub of talent."

Main sponsor for the event is NYSE Euronext. The Exchange's Centre of Excellence in Belfast is core to its business and strategy and offers world-leading, innovative technology. It provides integrated trading solutions for the global capital markets community, and their skills help power the trading operations for many of the world's best financial institutions and exchanges in the US, Asia and Europe.
